This Payment Policy explains how payments are collected and processed for ferry ticket bookings made through MintFerries.com.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Once live, MintFerries.com will accept payments via UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking and select digital wallets, processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways.

2. Fare & Fee Transparency

• The base fare charged by the ferry operator will be displayed separately from any MintFerries.com convenience fee.
• All applicable charges will be shown clearly on the payment summary screen before you confirm your booking.
• Fares may vary based on route, vessel class, season and operator, and are subject to change until payment is confirmed.

3. Payment Security

All payments are processed through encrypted, secure payment gateways. MintFerries.com does not store your full card number, CVV or net banking credentials on its own servers.

4. Payment Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully authorised and processed. You will receive an instant confirmation along with your e-ticket via email and SMS.

5. Failed & Pending Transactions

• If an amount is debited but your booking is not confirmed, the transaction will typically be automatically reversed by your bank or payment provider within a few business days.
• If a failed or duplicate charge is not reversed automatically, please contact our support team with your transaction reference number.

6. Currency

All fares and fees on MintFerries.com are displayed and charged in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

7. Fare Changes & Surcharges

Ferry operators may revise fares, apply peak-season surcharges, or levy additional charges for services such as vehicle transport, which will be reflected in the final payable amount shown at checkout.
